Recent events have seen reality television star Doyin Davids offer guidance to single women regarding the reasons they should avoid poor males.

Sharing a video of a man on her Instagram story, she cautioned women against dating a struggling or impoverished man, as it would be difficult to discern his true nature at that point.

The man disclosed in the video that he had dated a girl when he was younger and still struggling, and that she had consistently supported him. However, as his financial independence increased, his sentiments shifted.

“This is precisely why I advise against ever giving money to a man who has not performed any service for you.” You simply cannot determine a man’s true disposition until he begins to frivolously spend money. Avoid poor males for the sake of your mental health.”
