Recently, reality television icon Vee Iye has provided an intriguing explanation for why she has been staying at home.
She acknowledged that the expense of living in Nigeria had significantly increased and that she was fully cognizant of this. Additionally, she stated that this was the primary reason she was constantly confined to her residence.

She said this while quoting Shallipopi’s famous line with the words,
“The lifestyle costs and I know that’s why I stay the fuck at home.”
However, she had earlier stated that regardless of the outcome, she was going to enjoy life. In her words, she has said,
“I must chop this life regardless.”
Now, recall that back in January of 2024, Vee Iye had cried out over the Nigerian economy. She had blatantly stated that the Nigerian economy was giving it to Nigerians hard without any rubber.
She offered a lighthearted analysis of the Nigerian economy by remarking that presently, £10 is worth 17,200 Naira. She commented sarcastically on how incredible it was.
She went on to say that she was unable to even flee to the United Kingdom due to the country’s severe economic difficulties.
