She was born on 5 February 1980 in Isale Eko and moved to London when she was 11 years old to attend secondary school. She began singing background vocals for American performers such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige.
The excellent singer earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Kent in England.

Dowen College in Lekki was her alma mater. She eventually relocated to Johannesburg to get a degree in Economics at a South African institution.
