Pilgrims lament over food served in Saudi Arabia despite N8M fee for Hajj. Nigerian pilgrims are unhappy with the quality of the food they are given in Saudi Arabia. A Nigerian online user named Babagana Digima made the claim in a post on his Facebook page.

Food for Pilgrims Food is given to pilgrims in Saudi Arabia N8M hajj. Thanks to Babagana Digima on Facebook. He shared a picture of what he said was food and said that it was what the pilgrims were served today, May 28, even though they paid N8M for the Hajj.

The man also said that the tourists still haven’t gotten the $300 that the government said they would give them. He wrote…

“After paying N8m for Hajj see the breakfast that our pilgrims are being given! Nahcon Nigeria Fatima Mustapha. This what was given today 28th May 2024. In fact some pilgrims have already started begging to get money to buy food because even their remaining $300 that was promised to be paid to them in Saudi (out of $500) is not forthcoming from the authorities!”
