Online videos depicted the Yoruba celebrity being implicated in the robbery of gold jewelry on Lagos Island. Lizzy debunked the rumors on Instagram Live, attributing them to individuals such as Iyabo Ojo who were attempting to set her up.
In response to the news, Iyabo Ojo exulted while sharing a video of herself consuming alcohol while dancing. She announced a giveaway to her followers in a subsequent post in which she clarified that she does not send out fake alerts.

She questioned how she set up Lizzy during an interview, specifically whether Lizzy informed her in advance that she was heading to the market or whether she was the one who executed the transfer.
This occurred after the women had exchanged opinions for several months. Ojo and Anjorin had consistently cast dissident light on one another via their respective social media platforms.
Iyabo Ojo had uploaded a video in which she mockingly imitated and ridiculed Lizzy Anjorin. This evidently infuriated Lizzy, who then proceeded to divulge private information regarding Iyabo Ojo, including an accusation of infidelity. Further, she disclosed that Ojo was the mastermind behind Gistlover and had participated in a threesome with a wealthy politician.
In response to the accusation, Iyabo issued a legal threat against Lizzy, requiring her to issue a public apology or face a fine of N500 million for her libelous publication.
To resolve the dispute, Paulo Okoye, Iyabo’s companion, arranged a boxing match between the two individuals and offered N10 million to the victor.
Iyabo had insulted Lizzy in January when they ran into each other on a flight; Lizzy was humiliated.
Iyabo disclosed on Instagram that despite Lizzy’s boasts, she was taken aback to see her in economy class when she was in fact traveling in business class. Iyabo asserted that Lizzy concealed her face when she saw Anjorin, which caused her colleagues and acquaintances, including Tonto Dikeh and Nkechi Blessing, to ridicule her.
