Rapper Odumodu Bl*ck recently showed his support for fellow Nigerian artist Omah Lay in an open show of admiration. Odumodu expressed his excitement for Omah Lay on Twitter, referring to him as his favorite Nigerian musician. In his interviews, he said he never passes up the opportunity to discuss Omah Lay. Odumodu feels that Omah Lay has a special gift from God that none of the other people have.
It’s interesting that Odumodu brought up the fact that, in spite of Omah Lay’s quiet and reserved demeanor, he doesn’t receive the credit he merits. He extolled Omah Lay’s musical prowess, calling his melodies “divine,” and he challenged doubters to consult the charts as evidence of his commercial success. Odumodu claims that Omah Lay’s music is unique because it is purely artistic and doesn’t depend on sponsorship or gimmicks. Odumodu believes that Omah Lay is the most potent sound in the music industry.

It was unexpected to see Wizkid, another well-known artist, left off of Odumodu’s most recent list of the top five artists. Fans of Wizkid were incensed by this omission. According to Odumodu, he made his selections based on popular culture, and Wizkid was left off the list because he was taking a hiatus from music.
However, not all news about Odumodu has been positive. A few days ago, Kemi Filani reported that Odumodu’s female fans criticized him for derogatory and demeaning lyrics in his songs, accusing him of disrespecting women. Despite this controversy, Odumodu continues to make waves in the music industry with his candid opinions and unique perspectives on fellow artists. Meanwhile, Odumodu revealed that a collaboration with another artist, Tems, was unlikely due to her high feature cost of almost 500 million Naira, an amount he’s not ready to spend.
