Queen Dami, the former Alaafin of Oyo State and estranged spouse of the deceased Alaafin, has addressed her detractors and adversaries regarding her recent partnership with the singer Portable.
It has not been difficult to determine that the two are already romantically involved; they have made their relationship public.
After controversial blogger Gist Lover shared screenshots of their comments claiming that the mother of one is in a relationship with Portable, the singer and father of five confirmed his affair with the Queen.
Regarding their relationship, Portable stated that prior to the demise of her spouse, the King, Queen Dami was merely a fan; however, since then, circumstances have changed.
Queen Dami’s status as one of the consorts of a Yoruba monarch has prompted a number of criticisms regarding their relationship.
She recently published a Facetime video of herself and Portable, who is presently in London for a performance, gushing over one another. Dami referred to Portable as her spouse and conveyed her profound longing for him.
The video elicited strong criticism from numerous individuals, who responded by expressing their opinion on her Instagram page. In response, she advised others to verify their transaction history prior to offering advice.
She went on to say that she does not understand why they would advise her if her name does not appear in their transaction history.

Portable demonstrated his affection for Queen Dami months ago when he defended her against the actor Lege Miami, who exposed the former queen’s desperate desire for love.
Lege Miami stated that he was still seeking a suitor for Dami at the time he discovered her relationship with Portable; she initially denied it when confronted.
Portable criticized Lege with evidence as he exposed the actor’s practice of pleading with his wife for money.
Recall that the late monarch was previously wed to Queen Dami, but the union ended after she allegedly violated a palace rule.
As per available reports, the Queen was confined to a cell subsequent to purportedly disobeying a palace regulation; this transgression allegedly incited her to annul her matrimonial union and flee the palace.
She subsequently attributed the entire incident to frustration and friends’ erroneous advice. Prior to his passing last year, her relationship with the monarch had unfortunately never been restored.
