Bimbo Ademoye is an actress from Nigeria.For her work in the film Selina, she received Best Actress in a Comedy/TV Series at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.

She graduated from Mayflower School and attended Covenant University, where she majored in Business Administration.

2. Bimbo’s Early life

Bimbo Ademoye was born on the fourth of February, 1991. She spent her entire youth in the Nigerian metropolis of Lagos, where she was born. Her given name in its entirety.
Her father’s name is Adekunle Ademoye. She told The Punch newspaper that she was reared by a single father who supported her chosen job. Her parents subsequently divorced, and she moved in with her father while she was still a child. There isn’t much information available about her mother.

Adebike Maryam Ademoye is the only person she considers to be her sister or sibling. Adebike, her sister, is happily married and the mother of a lovely child.

She has also stated in public appearances that her father, who was the only person who cared for her when she was growing up, has always been supportive of her acting career.

Bimbo Ademoye attended St. Margaret’s Primary School in Ikorodu, Lagos, for her primary school.She graduated from Mayflower School and attended Covenant University, where she majored in Business Administration.

Bimbo Ademoye told The Daily Independent newspaper that her acting career began in 2014, when she was cast in the short film Where Talent Lies. The Africa International Film Festival bestowed honours on the film. She considers Uduak Isong to be her mentor, who helped her break into the industry. Ademoye was cast in her debut feature film, It’s About Your Husband, produced by Isong, in 2015.

She was named one of five actors expected to have a great career by the end of the year in a 2018 compilation by Premium Times newspaper. In April 2018, she co-starred in Gone, directed by Daniel Ademinokan, with Stella Damasus. Working with Damasus was a defining milestone in Ademoye’s career, she said. Bimbo Ademoye, like any other actress, has received numerous awards and nominations for her one-of-a-kind acting style. For her part in the film Backup Wife (2017), she was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy/TV Series at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in 2018.She was nominated for Revelation of the Year, Best New Actress, and Best Upcoming Actress at the 2018 City People Movie Awards. Bimbo was nominated for Best Lead Role in Backup Wife at the 2018 Nigeria Entertainment Awards. She also garnered two individual nominations for her part in Personal Assistant at the 2018 Best of Nollywood Awards, winning the award for Best Actress in a Supporting part and being nominated for Best Kiss in a Movie.

She has been in far too many films to name here, but some of her best work can be seen in Girlfriends, Personal Assistant, Desperate Housegirls, and others. It’s About Your Husband, The Family, Gone, Last Days, The Backup Wife Charmed, Getting Over Him, Diary of a Crazy Nigerian Woman, Light in the Dark are some of the films that have influenced me. 5. Bimbo Ademoye Relationship 

Bimbo Ademoye is reported to be dating VJ Adams, also known as Adams Ibrahim Adebola. He is a Nigerian video jockey, television host, entrepreneur, and musician. Adams posted a video on Instagram of himself surprising Ademoye with a romantic set-up for her birthday. Bimbo was previously linked to Ghanaian billionaire Nana Kwame Wiafe. The two had reportedly been in a covert romance for quite some time, with the actress being seen multiple times visiting the tycoon’s home.
The billionaire, who is claimed to be an orphan, is the CEO of the Wiafe Group of Companies, which owns Uni-Life Supermarkets, one of Ghana’s most notable retail chains. Wiafe is also the founder and CEO of 2Hype Music & Clothing.

6. Bimbo Ademoye’s tattoo

If you’re a big admirer of Bimbo, you’ve probably spotted the feather tattoo on the actress’s left shoulder. When asked about the tattoo, the actress revealed that her father almost disowned her after she got her ex-boyfriend’s name inked on her shoulder. When her relationship with the aforementioned guy ended, she was forced to have the feather tattoo to cover up the original name tattoo.

Adekunle Ademoye has two children, Bimbo Ademoye being the second and final. Although we know little about her mother, we do know that she and her father divorced when she was a child.
