Contentious Afrobeats musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has attacked Nigerian comedian Carter Efe for allegedly attempting to destroy his musical career by using Young Duu, his former signee.
Speaking about the controversies surrounding the release of Young Duu’s latest song, which were sparked by Carter Efe making claims about it, Portable emphasized that he will receive a cut of the song’s sales.
Gistmania remembers that Young Duu was able to connect with a few artists and gain more recognition after leaving the previous record label, Zeh Nation.
A number of celebrities reached out to Young Duu and offered him deals; some even gave him presents.
Furthermore, Young Duu and Carter Efe worked together to release a song that has been popular on streaming services.
In the middle of this latest ownership tantrum, Portable accuses Carter Efe of attempting to destroy him by utilizing his “boy.”
Additionally, Portable claimed that they are trying to keep him out of the spotlight by using Young Duu as a distraction, even though they are aware that he is capable of releasing his own album.
Furthermore, Portable maintains that his opponents are attempting to utilize Young Duu and that he is still his boy.
