Joseph Aloba, the late son of Nigerian artist Mohbad, has once again voiced his concerns about a recent development in his son’s case. Following calls from actress Tonto Dikeh and others for Mohbad’s body to be released for burial, Mr. Aloba responded online in a new video. The late singer’s father objected to the concept in the video, saying that no one should go carry his son’s body without his permission.
Joseph Aloba was seen criticizing the notion of his son being reburied right now in an internet video. He asserts that Mohbad is still his son in death and that any medical procedures involving his body must have his consent.
Aloba did not stop there, pointing out that while they have all been fighting for Mohbad’s justice, burying him would be ineffective because the issue would merely go away.
The elderly guy emphasized that before Mohbad’s body is buried again, Liam, his son, must have a DNA test completed.
In his words:
“I heard some people want to go and carry Mohbad’s body. When this boy was alive, he was my son and even after death, he is still my son. Nobody should go and take his body. If anything must be done, I will be the one to authorize it. We are seeking Justice for Mohbad and you people are talking of burial. What remains after burial? Let Justice take place first and DNA is very necessary please.”
