On Tuesday, Ndidi Mbah, a spokesman for Transmission Company of Nigeria, verified this.
A statewide blackout occurred on Monday around 11:20 a.m., according to Mbah, as a result of power workers, the National Union of power Employees (NUEE), following the Nigeria Labour Congress’s directives to stop providing their services.
She said, “Electricity workers are NLC members; they’ve complied with organized labor’s directive to cease operations on Tuesday.”
There is a blackout affecting the Federal Capital Territory and its surroundings.
Remember that on Tuesday, the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress, in defiance of a court order prohibiting them from doing so, declared a statewide indefinite strike.
