Magnito, a well-known rapper born Mohammed Usman Adamu, has revealed something surprising regarding female vocalists.

According to him, the boyfriends of the “most successful female artists” in Nigeria are in charge of them.

He asserted that because these female musicians keep their relationships private, fans are unaware of the practice that has taken hold in the Nigerian music business.

The crooner from “Canada” made a statement in the most recent edition of the Terms and Conditions podcast.

Magnito said, “Most of the successful female artists you see, the person managing them is their boyfriend. They might not put it in the public. But most of them… Call any name.”

Social media users responded differently to his assertion; some agreed with him, while others chastised him for “generalising”.
