Grammy-winning Artiste Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, has stated that he would be willing to pay Nigerian bloggers to stop writing about him.
The so-called “African Giant” admitted that he had never before paid for a Nigerian blog.

In order to settle the dispute and “completely” stop any news coverage about him, he urged Nigerian bloggers to band together and set a fee, which they could then relay to him.
On Friday, Burna Boy tweeted; “How far. all these Instablog, PulseNg e.t.c, abeg make all of una do meeting then decide how much I go give all of una make una forget my name totally. I know say I never pay any of una before so I say make I just run am finally. I greet you bros!!”

He stated further, “Make I pay money first. If dem born anybody make dem remember my name after I don sort. Sha All these things na because ORAIMO nor use chord again. #BringbackORAIMOchord.”.
Reactions to his article were mixed; some followers warned him that if bloggers stopped publishing news about him, he would become obscure.

Because of his prior cautions to bloggers about posting his music for free download on their websites, Burna Boy’s relationship with Nigerian bloggers has soured. The musician known as “Last Last” had previously attacked Nigerian bloggers for stealing his songs.
