    Wizkid consoles his son at his late mother’s Burial

    A moving video of afrobeats musician Ayodeji Balogun, better known online as Wizkid, comforting his first son Boluwatife during his mother’s wake has surfaced.

    Boluwatife could be seen sobbing in the viral video as his mother, Sola Ogudugu, comforted him from behind.When Wizkid noticed that Bolu was crying, he got up from his front-row seat to comfort his son.

    Wizkid said at her wake ceremony on Thursday that losing his mother was the most grief he had ever experienced.

    “The suffering is severe. It aches a lot. The worst agony I have ever experienced in my life Though I’m lost, I ask God to console each and every one of us.

    “Mom, I love you so much that I’m lost without you.”

    Wizkid’s mother, a strong, steadfast supporter, helped him ascend to prominence in the industry.

    Wizkid released “Mummy Mi,” a single from his “Ayo” album, in 2014. The song was written with mothers everywhere in mind.The singer thanked Jane for bringing him so much happiness. In addition, he pledged to lavish her with the best things in life.
