Jaruma, a well-known Kayamata vendor and controversial media figure, has apparently checked herself into treatment to deal with her drug misuse issues.
While rumors about her condition have been going around for a while, it was confirmed by well-known social media influencer Tosin SilverAdam that Jaruma had been admitted to a rehabilitation center.
In addition, SilverAdam urged Nigerians to remember Jaruma in their prayers and thoughts in the hopes that she would make a full recovery.
Jaruma is rumored to have entered rehab for a variety of reasons, while the exact cause is unknown.
Some have conjectured that it could have something to do with her prior divorce from her ex-husband and the numerous social media scandals she has been involved in over her career.

Others think that her issues with substance misuse and subsequent need for rehab may have been exacerbated by the pressure to live a perceived “fake life” at the height of her social media stardom.
Looking back to 2021, Jaruma made a clear cry for help and a noteworthy request for financial support. When she first called Regina Daniels, she stated that she had to get her money back immediately.
Jaruma said that although she had entered into a business partnership with Regina Daniels, she had not received the agreed-upon payment. Jaruma demanded the return of the money she said she paid Regina Daniels for promoting her goods, claiming to have given her ten million Naira.
She even disclosed the documentation that formally recorded their purchase and was issued on November 11, 2020.
Despite being unsigned because of unsuccessful attempts to change the terms of the agreement, the agreement demonstrated that Regina accepted the payment for her role as a marketing influencer.
Jaruma made a similar plea in 2022, this time pleading for financial assistance from people like Ubi Franklin, Tacha, Big Brother Naija participants Ella and Esther, among others. She emphasized that she had supported them when they needed it and pleaded with them to do the same.
She expressed her frustration at not getting assistance in a video that was broadcast while appearing to be in a hospital bed, highlighting that this was a side of Jaruma that the public had not before seen.
She also mentioned that she was an only kid and had no one to turn to for help, so she called out the people on this list who were in debt to her.
The most recent information indicates that Jaruma is currently in rehab and making progress toward her recovery from substance usage, but the outcome of her cries is yet uncertain.
