After Michelle Gentry graduated from the University of Manitoba in Canada, Nollywood actress and film producer Mercy Aigbe wrote an open letter to her daughter.
According to Kemi Filani, Mercy Aigbe’s daughter earned her first-degree, making her a proud mother.
Mercy posted a video of herself, her spouse Kazim Adeoti, and her group, which included her coworker Kemi Afolabi, as she celebrated the happy occasion with her miniature version.
The movie diva could be seen crying in the video as she saw her daughter get her degree.
She captioned the precious moment, expressing her pride in her daughter for giving all the glory to her creator.
Mercy has been faithful to her word, writing a heartfelt email to her mini-me.
She wrote a long statement on her Instagram page about how her daughter has been a constant presence in her life for the past 22 years, sharing life’s joys and sorrows with her.
She thought back to the moment she made the decision to study abroad. She was terrified about many things, but her daughter had reassured her that everything will work out.
Mercy continued by saying that she was so afraid of leaving her side that she had sobbed a lot, but that she is now glad that she took the choice.

Look at you. Look at how far you have come.
