Ifeanyi Adeleke, the child of renowned Nigerian musician Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland, has just passed away.
Ifeanyi Adeleke passed away on October 31.
Ifeanyi Adeleke reportedly perished a few days after his third birthday, which occurred on October 20.
Before Ifeanyi’s death, Davido was observed earlier today teaching him how to swim.
Videos that were shared on social media showed the singer of “Electricity” and Ifeanyi swimming in the big pool at the mansion.
Davido picked up the 3-year-old boy and told him to move his legs in the water while he was on his back.
Ifeanyi continued to flap his legs while being carried around the pool by a famous musician.
Davido was clearly impressed by his son’s performance, and he was heard saying that he learned quickly.
He said, “This one go learn quick.”
Ifeanyi’s parents, Chioma and Davido, had a wonderful party for his third birthday before he died in a tragic and unexpected way.
Davido and Chioma’s loss comes years after Nigerian artist Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, often known as D’banj, and wife Lineo Didi lost their first child in 2018 due to drowning.
One-year-old Daniel Oyebanjo III died after drowning in a swimming pool at Dbanj’s apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos state.
The prominent Nigerian singer and entertainer uploaded a black photo on Instagram with the phrase “Trying Times” to confirm the loss of his son. My God, however, is always and eternally faithful.
Local media reported that D’banj was in Los Angeles to attend the 2018 BET Awards when his son passed away.
In May of 2017, D’Banj and his wife Didi Lineo welcomed their first child, Daniel Oyebanjo III, named after D’Banj himself.
In June 2016, the couple got married in a private ceremony to which only immediate family members from both sides were invited.
However, they have now welcomed two additional children following the loss of the first.
