The Big Brother Naija star, who was born in the Imo state and has been criticized on social media for her accent, has challenged how else people want her to talk.

Mercy in an interview with a journalist Taymesan clarified that her accent is natural given that she has spent most of her entire childhood in Owerri and just left for the national youth service in 2016.

She bolstered her belief, mentioning that football legend Cristiano Ronaldo speaks English with an accent and is being praised by the general population.
